A space to find peace within.
“True happiness is based on peace.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
We all want to live our life with love and happiness. In life, sometimes we may find it’s challenging to be peaceful. To be peaceful doesn’t mean that we need to stay in a quiet space or somewhere that is calm. In fact, when we are mindful and conscious enough, peace can be found in our daily life.
The word “靜” from the logo of The Corner of Peace often refers to peace or quiet in Traditional Chinese writing. We aim to offer you a safe space where we can take a pause and practice together. Vanessa shares the teaching of Mindfulness and Buddhism through regular class, workshop and writing. By practicing Mindfulness, we cultivate the ability to be in the present so that we no longer suffer from the past and worrying about the future. We also practice to reflect on ourselves, so that we begin to see things in a non-judgmental way with understanding. And this is how we find inner peace.
