About Vanessa Wong

Vanessa has been practicing yoga since 2007. With many years of yoga practices, there was a time Vanessa struggled with a lot of difficulties in her life. It was no doubt that yoga brings her calmness and “a short period of peace”. However, as long as she was off the mat, she was still suffering with the heavy emotional storm.

Until she started her Mindfulness practice in 2016 when she had her first Yoga teacher training. Mindfulness has provided her with new ways to face the lessons life throws at her and deepened her understanding of herself, her body and mind. She realised that to be happy is not about changing the conditions on the outside, it’s all about going inwards to find the peace on the inside. It has been a great support for her emotional needs which brings more harmony into the relationship with herself and the others.

“Vanessa has a pure and kind heart of a child, but the courage and strength of a warrior. She is one of the very few who is willing to look within, to face her inner struggles and transform them into wisdom. Her authenticity and determination has touched me deeply.”

“Only when we start to understand and reflect on ourselves, then we can understand the others. That’s how we bring more understanding and compassion to this world.” - Vanessa
